Rynqu MCP Server

Connect your Rynqu memory to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any assistant that supports MCP.

An active Pro account is required to use the Rynqu MCP server. Access is checked on every request, including existing keys and authorizations. Writing remains optional and requires your permission.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard created by Anthropic that lets AI assistants interact with external tools and services in a structured, secure way.

Once connected, ask your assistant to find a link, read what you kept on a topic or, if you allow it, save and organize links.

Available tools

search_bookmarks

Keyword or meaning search (Pro), highlighted passages included.

get_memory_content

Reads a link’s saved text and highlights.

list_bookmarks

Returns your links with folder and tags.

list_folders

Lists your folders.

list_tags

Returns all your tags.

list_read_later

Your read-later list.

save_linkif allowed

Saves a link (optional note and folder).

create_folderif allowed

Creates a folder.

move_to_folderif allowed

Moves a link into a folder.

set_noteif allowed

Edits a link’s note.

One-click connection (recommended)

Paste this address in your assistant, then log in to Rynqu and allow access. No key to copy.

MCP server address

https://rynqu.com/api/mcp
  1. Claude (claude.ai or app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the address.
  2. ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors (developer mode) → Create → paste the address.
  3. Other MCP assistants: add a “remote” (HTTP) server with this address; authorization happens on its own.

Rynqu’s authorization screen shows what the assistant will be able to do: read your memory and, only if you tick the box, add and organize. Never deletes anything.

Remove an access, see and undo an assistant’s actions: Settings → API keys → Connected applications.

Other method: API key (read only)

For a remote connection, use your Pro account and authorize the assistant in your browser. To manage access: Settings → API Keys.

Node.js 18+ must be installed on your machine — check with node -v.

Configuration — Claude Desktop

Open claude_desktop_config.json and add the block below. Choose your package manager:

claude_desktop_config.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "rynqu": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y","mcp-remote@0.15.2","https://rynqu.com/api/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Replace the old blin entry and @blin.app/mcp-server package with the configuration below. It connects to the Rynqu server and opens authorization in your browser; no API key needs to be pasted into this example.

Restart your assistant after the change. The name rynqu identifies this connection in your configuration.

Configuration — Cursor

In Cursor: Settings → MCP → Add new MCP server, then paste:

.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "rynqu": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y","mcp-remote@0.15.2","https://rynqu.com/api/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Usage examples

« Find what I saved about spaced repetition »

« Summarize the three articles in my Research folder »

« Save https://react.dev in my Development folder »

« Move my unfiled design links into “Design” »
