Import guide

Import your links

Migrate your links from Chrome (or any other browser) to Rynqu in a few minutes. Rynqu supports the standard HTML format exported by all browsers.

Step 1 — Export from Chrome

  1. 1

    Open the link manager

In Chrome, click the 3 dots (⋮) in the top right → Links and lists → link manager.

    Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+O (Windows) · ⌘+Option+B (Mac)

  2. 2

    Export links

In the link manager, click the 3 dots (⋮) in the top right → Export links.

  3. 3

    Save the HTML file

Chrome generates a file called bookmarks_DD_MM_YYYY.html. Keep it handy, you'll need it in the next step.

Other browsers

  • Firefox: Links → Manage Links → Import and Backup → Export Links to HTML
  • Safari: File → Export Links → Safari Links HTML File
  • Edge: Settings → Import browser data → Export favorites

Step 2 — Import into Rynqu

  1. 1

    Open the add modal

In your Rynqu dashboard, click the Add link button in the top right.

  2. 2

    Go to the "Import" tab

In the modal, click the Import tab (next to the "Add link" tab).

  3. 3

    Select the HTML file

Click the drop zone or drag and drop your .html file. Rynqu automatically detects the format and extracts every link.

  4. 4

Wait for the import to finish

Rynqu imports links in batches of 30. A progress bar shows how far along it is. For a 500-link import, expect about 2-3 minutes.

What happens after the import?

Folder structure preserved

Rynqu automatically recreates your browser's folder tree.

AI processing in the background

Each link is progressively enriched: title, description, screenshot, tags. Status moves from "pending" to "ready".

Duplicates detected

If a link already exists in your library, it isn't imported twice.

Immediate access

Your links are accessible as soon as they're imported, even before AI processing finishes.
