POST/api/bookmarks

Create a link

Saves a URL to your Rynqu library. The AI takes over in the background to generate the title, summary, tags, and screenshot — the link is available immediately with the pending status.

link lifecycle

pending→
processing→
ready

The status field moves from pending → processing → ready once AI processing finishes (usually 5 to 30 seconds).

Request parameters

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
urlstringrequiredThe URL to save. Must be a valid, reachable URL.
folderIdstring (uuid)optionalID of the destination folder. If omitted, Rynqu classifies the link automatically.
isFavoritebooleanoptionalMarks the link as a favorite on creation. Default: false.

Example request

curl -X POST https://rynqu.com/api/bookmarks \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_xxxx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"url": "https://example.com/article"}'
